St.Louis Rams Team News
Over 500 yards rushing in divisional matchup, Rams@Hawks!
Posted by: reindeerblood08 on 2010-05-29

In their first meating of the season, Rams ran all over the Seahawks, who also ran all over the Rams. Steven Jackson started getting back into business after a good but not spectacular first game, with over 250 yards on the ground and two rushing td's! WOW! Marcus Mason also neared the 200 yard mark, but in the end this game was decided by a few turnovers, and it was the Rams turn to capitalize on them on this day.

On one bizarre play, Steven Jackson was stripped, the ball lay on the turf several seconds, and eventually the OL of the Rams picked it up, and somehow scampered 35 yards into the endzone, narrowly avoiding the sidlelines and the oncoming speedy defensive backs.

Seattles QB Jevan Snead had a good performance, but in the end, the game management of backup Kyle Boller was solid enough to give the Rams the win.

St Louis may be needing a new QB come next season, as QB Bulger seems to keep getting injured, this time for several weeks with what appers to be an abdominal strain. But for now, Rams fans can ride the wave of last season's rushing madman Steven Jackson, who most certainly will get offensive support from the many weapons they have available.
